When I was a child I knew the story of Bambi by heart. Fawns and their delicate dotted features have always had a special place within the animals in my head. The final inspiration for the piece came from a fawn rescue place ( @fuzzyfawnwildlife) where injured or abandoned fawns are cared for and released back into the wild.

As to be expected this fawn loves the company of lush botanical art like our Fougere Fou print or Foliage collage…
